The Copperhead Charities “50/50” raffle is a fundraiser that will be conducted during the 2015 Valspar Championship. It will raise money for the Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation and The First Tee of Clearwater.
50/50 Raffle tickets can be purchased during the tournament at two fixed locations, the Information Booth behind the 10th tee and in a tent behind the 18th green, as well as from mobile vendors roaming the golf course. Tickets will be sold beginning on Thursday, March 12th and sold each day through Sunday, March 15th. Ticket sales will begin at 9:00 am and continue until approximately 5:30 pm each day. Raffle tickets will also be sold at the Saturday evening concert from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm and in advance of the Valspar Championship for approximately one month prior to the start of the tournament. Pre-sale tickets will be available at the Chi Chi Golf Club and Sports Complex. There will be one raffle that will include all pre-sales as well as all four days of the Valspar Championship. The winning ticket number will be chosen at random at approximately 7 pm on Sunday, March 15th. Winning numbers will be displayed on 50/50 raffle monitors, video display monitors, and on the following web portals by 8 pm on March 15th: www.ps5050.com/chichi or www.chichi.org. Winners will receive fifty (50) percent of the net proceeds from sales of tickets throughout the raffle event.
By obligation of Florida state law, no purchase or contribution is necessary to enter the drawing. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of 3 for $5, 10 for $10, or 40 for $20. Fans can receive one draw ticket by visiting the selling station by the 18th green and filling out a draw ticket request form.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older and do not need to be present to win. All 50/50 Raffle winners will have thirty (30) days from the date of the drawing to redeem their winning ticket. If a prize remains unclaimed after this thirty (30) day period, the unclaimed 50/50 Raffle prize money will be donated back to the Copperheads/The First Tee of Clearwater for use in their charitable efforts. Chi Chi Rodriguez staff members and 50/50 Raffle volunteers are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 Raffle.

How to Claim a Prize
In order to claim a 50/50 Raffle prize, potential winners should contact Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation representative Jose Molina at 727.726.8829 ext. 207 or jose@chichi.org. You must bring and present a valid ticket. The designated 50/50 Raffle ticket is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize and must be redeemed either in person or via mail. The Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, The First Tee of Clearwater, and its volunteers are not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen 50/50 Raffle tickets. Upon completion of the corresponding paperwork, a check will be mailed to the winner within thirty (30) days.
All winners will be subject to the IRS rules and regulations regarding winnings. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winning ticket holder.
